Indian Diwali was celebrated in grand fashion this year as Austen Morris Associates sponsored the annual Diwali Ball at the Flower Hotel in Keqiao, Zhejiang Province. Our own Justin Blackford, Katie Littlefield and Yogesh Bhambhani were among the attendees to celebrate the holiday. The evening began with the ceremonial lighting of the Diya as guests from all over the country were ushering in. Many were wearing traditional Indian garments, brilliant in both colour and style. Plenty of song and dance were had by all of the guests including a famous Bollywood movie star. The entertainment also included a comedy show, raffle and customary food and drink. Overall it proved to many in China how Diwali is a truly special holiday.
