Leeuwin Estate Winery is a 'Serious Wine Producer', with a Chardonnay that has been called ' Australia 's best Chardonnay'. The winery is on an estate that has accommodated the likes of Sting, Tom Jones and Dianna Ross.

Who would have thought the proprietor of such a place could be such a laugh?

Denis Horgan, owner of Australia 's Leeuwin Estate Winery surprised us all by being humorous, entertaining and lively, and by showing no desire to drone on about the technicalities of his wonderful wines. 'Just drink it!' he says 'it will speak for itself. Now, did I tell you about the time....'

And what a time we had. The evening, the latest AMA Private Client Dinner, was highlighted by an exquisite menu, a dazzling view and even an unexpected round of fireworks over the Bund. Not to mention the truly marvelous wine....
