18 February 2009 - Private Client Dinner at Haiku by Hatsune, Shanghai

The tables were overflowing with gourmet Japanese specialties and exquisite top-shelf sakes on February 18, 2009 as Austen Morris Associates’Panicko Lawrence and Mithiele Toniolo hosted an exclusive event at Haiku by Hatsune.  An intimate group of top clients and guests were treated to The Sushi and Sake Experience, a 7-course dinner with sake pairings specially selected by Alan Wong (owner of the famed Hatsune Restaurant Group and Austen Morris Associates client), who flew in from Beijing to take part in the event.  The evening began with a cocktail and canapé reception, followed by a few words from Panicko Lawrence.  Alan Wong designed the menu especially for the event; each course was paired with a complimentary sake, coming together to create perfect flavor combinations. All 30 guests walked away from the evening with a heightened appreciation for the art of sake and their stomachs full of some of the finest Japanese food and drink that Shanghai has to offer.
